Summary of Contributions

A major part of my responsibilities at Scholastic involves working on the various minigames that populate the game. From design work to producing, they collaborated with multiple teams to make Scholastic’s bestselling properties come to life.

Most of the minigames I’ve worked on have been in a pre-production capacity, where I’ve collaborated with my team to create engaging gameplay loops while maintaining brand integrity.

An example of this would be Baby-Sitting Heroes, where the Home Base team had to juggle a non-violent, entrepreneurship focused tycoon game that featured elements of the Baby-Sitters Club property (characters, locations, and tone).

As Home Base is a project between multiple international teams, I’ve has also worked on the production side of these games. Managing schedules, coordinating builds, and organizing playtests were some of my responsibilities.

Finally, I have worked on several updates for existing minigames to improve player engagement and maintain relevance within our varied lineup. The Home Base community provides plenty of feedback which leads to the minigames becoming the best that they could possibly be.

I’ve worked on the following minigames:

  • Unannounced skateboarding minigame

  • Unannounced card based minigame

  • Tagging Supa Buddies (Dog Man)

  • Make-o-Matic 3000 (Dog Man)

  • Supa Racers (Dog Man)

  • Constellations (I Survived)

  • Maze Navigation (I Survived)

  • Clue Hunt (The 39 Clues)

  • Baby-Sitting Heroes (Baby-Sitters Club)

  • Book Fair Frenzy (Scholastic Book Fairs)

  • The Fast and the Furriest (The Bad Guys)
